Adelaide Mandolin Festival 2017 presents the Mandolin Festival Concert

7:30pm on Saturday 21st of January, 2017

Featuring:
Acclaimed Conductor Nathan Aspinall
Corinthian Singers and Friends
Hannah Kovilpillai – Oboe,  Marissa Carroll – Mandolin, Darryl Rule – Guitar

The program will include the world premiere performance of “Adelaide Dances”, a newly commissioned work by Sydney mandolin virtuoso, Stephen Lalor.
Other works include: 

  • La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi with mandolin soloist, Marissa Carroll
  • Grave and Fandango by Luigi Boccherini with guitar soloist, Darryl Rule
  • Concerto in C for Oboe by Ernest Eichner with oboe soloist, Hannah Kovilpillai
  • Mother and Sister by Manos Hadjidakis
  • El Dindirindin by Mateo Flecha
  • Shallow Brown by Percy Grainger
  • Divertimento by Ernest Angulo
