A State Service of Thanksgiving for the life, work, and witness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A link for ticketing has now been set up by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

Indoor seating has reached capacity but you can still register for outdoor viewing.

If you have registered for indoor seating, you need to present your ticket to enter the cathedral. Doors open at 5pm and all attendees must be seated by 5.45pm. The service will begin at 6pm.

Tickets will not be issued for outdoor viewing.

The Adelaide Oval North Carpark will be open for paid parking. The St Peter’s Cathedral car park will be CLOSED to the public.

The service will pay respect to Her Majesty The Queen and her more than 70 years of service to South Australia and the Commonwealth.

Her Majesty The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral on 8 September 2022.

The State Service provides an opportunity for South Australians to come together and reflect on Her Majesty’s achievements and dedicated service to the state.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Limited seating will be available within the Cathedral.

Additional outdoor viewing will be available and the service will be broadcast on screens outside the Cathedral.

Please ensure you register for either indoor seating or outdoor viewing.

If you register for indoor seating please ensure you bring a copy of your ticket to show upon entry.

Some paid parking is available at the Adelaide Oval North Carpark (access from the West side of Pennington Terrace).
