Conservation Committee
The Conservation Committee’s main role is to implement the recommendations of the Conservation Management Plan completed in March 2014. It is part of a larger strategic approach to cathedral property management.
Its particular role is to advise Cathedral Council and Diocesan Council on matters including
1. Appointing a Cathedral architect
2. Reviewing the 2014 Conservation Strategy
3. Providing scope of work, timeline and budget
4. Devising a contracting strategy
5. Obtaining external advice when required; and
6. Seeking sources of funding
