Let us never lose the Alleluia part of our life which, when our worship is done, takes us back into the world to be light and life to the ordinary everyday people we meet and interact with on a daily basis.."

- Sermon Series: Lent with Luke - 4 - What evil has he done?- Evensong 7.00pm Sunday 10 March 2013 "Two images of the Bible have kept me intrigued for many years. The first is that the Bible is like a pool of water: shallow enough for a toddler to splash around in safety, deep enough for an elephant to bathe in. The second is that the Bible is like an onion: no sooner have you peeled off one layer than there is another layer below it (not unlike Shrek and the onion layers).
