Priest

The Rev'd Lucy Larkin

Lucy is a priest in the diocese of Adelaide (deaconed 2008, priested 2009). She was assistant curate at St Columba’s in Hawthorn and has taught theology at St Barnabas’ theological college. Her field of interest is environmental theology. Her mother is Singaporean Chinese and her father was English. She grew up in Brunei and Hong Kong, and then lived in England until moving to Glenelg in 2006. In London she taught Religious Studies in secondary schools, and in Bristol she taught Theology, Philosophy and Ethics in a Sixth Form College. She is married to Jonathan and they have three children Anna (13), Josiah (11) and Maddie (8). They live in Glenelg and St Peter’s Glenelg, where Lucy has been honorary assisting priest, is their home church. Lucy enjoys walks along the beach and cappuccinos with friends. Lately she has been furiously trying different baking recipes and attempting to write a book about environmental theology.
